Food & Beverage City & Guilds NVQ Level 2 Diploma


This qualification will be beneficial if you are currently employed in the hospitality industry and need to develop your food and beverage skills. The course is ideal if you work as a waiter/waitress, bar assistant/manager, conference and banqueting assistants and more. This work-based qualification will enable you to gain the necessary knowledge for working in a hospitality environment that requires food and beverage service.

Entry requirements

To begin this course you must be employed in the hospitality industry on a permanent basis in a front of house role.

Course content

During the course you will be introduced to a range of topics, such as health and safety, hygiene, working effectively as part of a team and customer service.

Successful completion of this course will result in you gaining an industry-recognised qualification, allowing you to further develop your career within the hospitality and catering industry.
