First Line Management CMI Level 3 Certificate

This qualification gives junior managers the communication and motivational skills to help improve operational efficiency. If you are a supervisor or first line manager with operational responsibility, this qualification is for you.

CMI

Entry requirements

You will need to have either a Level 2 Business-related qualification OR the ability to demonstrate Level 2 business knowledge through work experience.

Course content

You will study the following units:

  • Personal development as a first line manager
  • Improving team performance

Assessment methods

You will be assessed on each unit through written reports, presentations and activities.

Further study and career options

On successful completion of this course you can progress on to other courses accredited by the CMI.

Additional information

This course is delivered with a blended learning approach. On this course you will be required to attend one evening every four weeks for an introduction to CMI resources and the unit. You will then have access to the tutor for tutorials face to face, via email and by telephone. Significant study outside of college hours will be required to be successful on this course.

 

Part-time evening Wednesday 6 pm to 8 pm once every four weeks.
